TI 3,5 inc. ? :>

      TRANSLATION

At E3 on the 13th, Nexon held a press conference revealing its detailed roadmap on servicing Dota 2. Dota 2 is an AOS-style game developed by Valve, a famed American developer.

Nexon supports global service which will allow Korean Dota 2 players to enjoy the game globally from North America, Europe, to Southeast Asia. Original beta users will be able to enjoy all services without transferring accounts.

Users can play not only in Korean servers but also in servers of all the regions mentioned above, and can enjoy all contents and updates concurrently with players of other regions. Global team rating system will be a source of entertainment for all teams in the world.

To encourage further activity in both the professional and amateur scene, Nexon plans to establish leagues aimed at both types of players. The accumulated prize pool just within Korea nears 2 billion WON (1.7 million USD) (EDIT: just for 2013).

Nexon reveals its first official tournament, Nexon Starter League, whose signups run from the 13th until the 23rd.

The first winning team enjoys 10 million WON (EDIT: Roughly 8k USD) prize and receives a special ticket to spectate the International 2013 Live this August in Seattle, WA. Starting next year, Korean teams will participate in this tournament. The official Korean service of Dota 2 starts this fall through the Nexon portal.

At this event, the Dota 2 Project Lead Eric Johnson stated, "Dota 2 is a phenomenal game with elements of strategy and competition that has already garnered much fame in North America and Europe. With the help of Nexon and its experience in the Korean market we hope to have great success.

Dota 2 is an AOS-style game wherein one controls a hero in order to defeat the enemy's base. It boasts its well-maintained balance, high graphics based on Source engine, and phenomenal Match Making system. It currently supports 110 heroes.

It will be interesting to see how Dota 2 will fare in the market dominated by League of Legends.

      tl;dr
