Oldschool gamer and mousesports Hall-of-Famer Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel officially returns to professional gaming once again to compete at this years ESL Pro Series Spring Grand Final against myRevenge to replace Finn "Karrigan" Andersen.
He led the mousesports CS 1.6 to fame and glory in their very first years of professional gaming: Coming from a-Losers, Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel joined the club before ESL Pro Series III and won the MVP and the EPS title in his first season for mousesports with many more to follow. He was a long-time member and led the team to various championships.
Now he returns to professional gaming for one last game. Blizzard will replace Finn "Karrigan" Andersen at the ESL Pro Series Spring 2012 Grand Final against myRevenge. Karrigan, who is not able to attend EPS Finals in Cologne due to his duties with his new team fnatic, who will compete at a DreamHack qualifier the same time. Of course we are sad not to finish the season with Karrigan who was a solid backup throughout the whole season, but we're also extremely happy to end the CS 1.6 chapter in a Grand Final with Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel who has been more than just a player for our club for many years.
Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel: "I'm really happy to compete in the ESL Pro Series once again, despite the fact that it's a strange feeling to be part of the last CS 1.6 team/match for mousesports. Nevertheless I hope for a great ending and I will work hard to help my team as best as possible to win one last EPS championship."
